Overview

NashTech is a company with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, employing over 2,000 people all over the world.

The goal was to design a modern, consistent with brand, intuitive career website to attract top talent and streamline the recruitment process. The previous site was limited to a single branch in one country, so we expanded its scope to address the diverse needs of recruiters across multiple branches globally.

My contribution

  • Discovery - Acquiring business requirements, facilitate workshops (creating personas), UX Research (benchmarking, desk research)

  • UX/UI prototyping - Preparing prototypes for tests and development

  • Testing - moderated usability testing (8 users for testing wireframes, 3 users for testing mockups)

Process

Discovery

The project began with an in-depth discovery phase, where we collected comprehensive business requirements and conducted a thorough benchmark analysis. This laid the foundation for understanding the needs and goals of the new career website.

As part of this phase, we also developed detailed personas based on employee data and insights from key stakeholders. These personas represent the diverse profiles of potential users, helping us empathize with their needs, motivations, and challenges. By keeping these personas at the forefront of our design process, we ensured that the website's features and user experience were carefully tailored to meet the specific expectations of our target audience.

Ideation and concept

Next, we moved into the ideation phase. We meticulously mapped out the website structure and developed compelling content. Card sorting exercises were conducted to optimize the navigation arrangement, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Following this, we created detailed UX wireframes to visualize the layout and functionality.

Testing

To ensure the website's usability and appeal, we conducted rigorous testing of the wireframes and subsequent UI mockups. Participants from our target audience in three different countries provided invaluable feedback, allowing us to refine the design and functionality to meet diverse user needs.

Design

The final UI design aligns seamlessly with the main NT brand website, incorporating numerous square elements as a nod to the brand's logo. Emphasizing the brand's core mission, the design effectively communicates themes of diversity, quality, and inclusion.

Outcome

The result of the project is a cohesive and separate website that consolidates job offers and employer branding information in one centralized location while streamlining the management of HR applications.
